After years of performing together, Bright Yellow Mark is the first ever EP from soft indie group St Jacques. On the EP's five songs, St Jacques are doing what they love - singing together, joyfully and gently. It represents years of work, creativity and tenderness shared between the band and its audiences. With members now split between Nipaluna (Hobart) and Kaurna Yerta (Adelaide), the Bright Yellow Mark launch will be the band's only live performance back home in 2025, making this occasion all the more special.
Lucinda Grace
Cello is Lucinda's instrument she's been playing since she was a little tacker, which is the base for her growing sound, with lush string sections, her simple songwriting about small meaningful, youthful moments creates a nostalgic, organic indie pop.
Gilly and Bede
Gilly & Bede are a sister folk duo based on Kaurna Yerta (Adelaide, Australia). They take influence from an array of sources, including traditional folk ballads and music, 60s folk revivalists such as Nick Drake, and contemporary acts including Laura Marling. Gilly & Bede combine carefully rendered vocal harmonies with richly resonant cello and intricate guitar accompaniment to tell tales of birdlife, landscape, and transience.
